Kathryn Garven is Washington Premier Group's Intern Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. She is an International Relations and Dance double major at Connecticut College finishing her Bachelor's degree.
Prior to joining the WPG team, Kate has interned abroad in Jordan with Reclaim Childhood creating a dance program with the nonprofit. Assisting local coaches and volunteers in giving a total 300+ refugee and local girls athletic opportunities, she supports the administrative staff through grant writing, research, continuous social media presence, and created a promotional video.
During the summer of 2018, Kate joined WPG as an intern and supported clients and current projects, learned about consulting, created blogs and news summaries, contacted legislators and legislation offices, and more. These experiences have helped shape her passion for human rights, governance, foreign policy, and public policy. After graduation in May of 2019, she hopes to explore these passions even more and attend graduate school eventually.
